ZARIP stands for Zanzibar Research and Information Portal. ZARIP is a portal designed to collect and manage research output and information generated by the Government Ministries, research and academic institutions.
- 2. What type research and information stored in ZARIP?
ZARIP store and preserve research output from individual, research and academic institutions. ZARIP also contain President and Vice-president Speeches and policies from Ministries and government agencies.
- 3. How do I submit articles to ZARIP?
Only ZARIP submitter and administrators can submit articles in the ZARIP. Please contact us for more information.
- 4. Who can access my work?
Anyone who has link: http://publications.suza.ac.tz:4000/community-list can view and download the paper submitted in ZARIP.
- 5. Can my articles can be searchable by top search engine such as Google?
Yes. Google and other search engines will pick up materials located in ZARIP. This exposure is a major benefit of open access. Each object (article, report, policy and speech) will be tagged with metadata that, allows indexing systems such as Google Scholar to harvest your work and ensure wider visibility of that work.
- 6. How do I know whether the journal I published in allows placement of my article in ZARIP?
You can consult your agreement, the publisher’s website, or SHERPA/RoMEO, a searchable database of many publisher’s open access and institutional repository policies. If your article was published in the Journal that appear in SHERPA/RoMEO, thus, is acceptable to be stored in ZARIP.
